Bryn Whicker

Associate Director

With over 10 years of experience in the estimating and construction industry, Bryn brings a wealth of knowledge, organisation and commercial experience to the team.

Bryn began his career with a commercial roofing and cladding company, where he progressed to the position of Estimating Manager. His experience has given his a strong understanding of the construction process, from accurately estimating projects and managing costs through to understanding what is required to successfully deliver a project on site.

Bryn has a genuine passion for helping clients achieve the finished result they want, while ensuring projects remain within a budget that works for them. He takes pride in understanding each client's requirements and finding practical, cost effective solutions without compromising on quality.

As well as estimating, Bryn plays an important role in the organisation of the wider team. He helps ensure that the right materials, trades and resources are in place at the right time, allowing projects to run efficiently and helping the site team deliver work to the high standards expected by Distinct.

Away from work, Bryn is a keen Rugby enthusiast and enjoys cooking. Most importantly, he is a proud father, and enjoys making the most of his time with his family outside of work.

Archie Landymore

Construction Crew Manager

Archie has been an invaluable member of the Distinct team, working his way up through the ranks to become an on site construction manager. With years of experience in the carpentry and general building world he is able to deliver projects efficiently and to the high standards we expect.

He began his career as most tradespeople as a general labourer, helping other skilled workers  where needed but very quickly started taking note of how they would go about completing a variety of tasks. Soon into this role he became confident to give it a go himself, picking up the tools and it wasn't long until he had gained a some incredible skills.

Archies then went on to work for a bespoke furniture company where he enhanced these skills and gained a ultra fine detail for perfection. This is shown now across all of our projects on a grand scale but still maintaining those intricate details that he has learnt.

Away from work, Archie is a keen golfer, regularly attending competitions in his spare time and annoyingly to those playing with him, often coming out on top. He also has a huge interest in surfing and skiing (where we always hope he comes back in one piece)!

Bradley Hinton

Bradley has recently joined the team after working within the construction industry for over 5 years. His knowledge and work ethic is one to be proud of, a clean, tidy and reliable worker who delivers an extremely high standard of work.

In particular Brad brings a wealth of knowledge when building our garden rooms, before starting with Distinct he had been involved in some great projects - each very different and unique in their own ways. He has brought this knowledge into the business and our garden rooms have never been better.

Outside of work Brad enjoys seeing his friends and family in particular being an uncle to his your nephew (who certainly has him wrapped around his little finger)! A true family man at heart.

David Ferriman

Construction Crew

Dave is our longest serving member of staff in the team (the OG)! In the years that Dave has worked within Distinct he has seen some incredible changes. Starting off my working alongside Russell assisting and helping not only on the job but also to develop the business into what it has become.

He has a passion for history, building and creating things. Dave enjoys practical work and solving problems, he is often the man we go to to think of another way round a problem. What Dave doesn't know isn't worth knowing!

Outside of work, Dave is fascinated by history, particularly Viking history and World War II. As you can see from the photos, Dave volunteered at Bletchley Park for many years, learning about the people, battles, technology and stories that shaped the world we live in today.

Dave is also into 3D printing, motorcycles and flying his drones but is happiest when spending time with his family.

Dave is a Dad of five and Grandad of one, a true family man ❤️ . Dave will often be found having a chat with the customer and guiding them through the process and he makes each project a joy for the customer to be a part of.
